On various occasions, Macca said he woulds pretend to be someone else, to feed his inspiration for a new song. Suppose the Magical Mystery Tour, Sgt Pepper are examples of porjects, Ray Charles was also mentioned.
So who did he think about when writing I've Got A Feeling ? The song is very 'personal' for a Macca song, it's not a story about soemone of some place like many other Macca songs. And it has a continuous guttar riff....a name comes to mind ? For me, could very well be Lennon. Macca was sort of reachibg out (Hey Jude, Two of Us), so why not ?
Anyway, does fit reasonably well witrh Please Please Me, the first Lennon no 1.

Ambitious... and very good in theory. But it doesn't quite work for me. I think the slowing down of the vocals presented too many digital artifacts and there a few places where they seam to be a bit out of tune. Your first attempt of
I've Got A Feeling was far more enjoyable to my ears. Please take no offence. Keep up the good work, some of mine aren't what I had hoped they would be either.
I've always wondered how the Orbison inspired original version would have sounded. Maybe, when I have the time I'll do a cover like that.
