Hello party people, I'm new here, this is my 1st post so be gentle with me. Although I've been collecting mostly classic rock/pop/ stems & multis for awhile, I'm just now starting to do stuff with them Anyway, I want to create something cool for George's 70th for a function I'm going to, and wonder if anybody here can help. I'm looking for any of his Beatle/solo tracks separated. Whether they be the mogg format/stems or separated channels etc. The more separated, the better. I know most of this stuff is only available as reductions with different instruments mixed together, but being new to this stuff, I don't know exactly what's out there & you never know if you don't ask right? In particular, if anyone has JUST backing vocals to Taxman with out any instruments or lead vocals, (the mogg has all vox together) I'd really appreciate that. In fact, they don't even need to be the Beatles BV's. Good ringer versions will do, the important thing is that they're in time with the original, clean, lossless, & 'untainted' by any non-backup vocal track. Also, I Want To Tell You is key. In exchange, I will 'trade' anything in my arsenal you may need. Let me know what you have & how you want to go about doing this. Thank you! Here are the Beatle Tracks I already have (mogg): Do You Want To Know A Secret, If I Needed Someone, Something, Think For Yourself, Taxman,
While My Guitar Gently Weeps

I doubt these isoalations exist. I am sure I don't have them.

Ahhh. I see. That makes sense. Guess that's it. Probably  shouldn't take things so personally. I thought their would at least be the odd iso of a Beatle tribute band or something close at least. My mistake. Thanks for the response anyway BDJ, at least I don't feel like a tree falling in the forest.

yes, moggs are very helpful, but the way many of the tracks were recorded make it rather difficult to get good extractions from them. It is usually easier to get a good instrumental than it is to get a good vocal.

Obviously too late for your stated purpose, Mr.E but I happen to know a Harrison maniac who's also a remixer and recently had a discussion on this topic. Since he's yet to acquire any, this can be filed under 'tasty rumour' for now but we were talking about how Dhani Harrison, George's son had indirectly made the multitracks available (by promoting the idea of a Beatles Rockband project to Apple, George and Giles Martin, Paul and Ringo) and my contact said 'Yeah and I'm sure he did it deliberately because he's also slipped out some 'All Things Must Pass' stems.
This guy is pretty loaded and trades up at the source levels so as soon as I have more, I shall bring it.
