Gosh magoocus, just in to the I Want You (She's So Heavy) isolations right now, sounding soooo clear - stunning stuff. The bass track is outstanding, did you do any other processing yourself on these or are they prettty much as they come after lining them up?

Mainly I just line them up, try to get something centered that a CCE can remove. I try tons of different combinations, most of it gets thrown away but some of it comes out good. I might edit a track together from several different isolations, like on the Helter Skelter rhythm guitar track, and I do some volume adjusting as well to highlight the featured instrument or lower background stuff; on the solo part of IWYSSH lead vocal, I boosted the volume to bring up George's guitar, and I think I edited that part in from a different isolation where that one part happened to be cleaner.

Volume 3 is about halfway done.

Thanks,M,for all the pleasure these give.
I find it fascinating to hear the subtle nuances of the mixes.
The only thing better would be to have George Martin demonstrating them himself.

Very cool indeed magoocus, thanks, nice to know it's as raw and off the tape as it can be, from my own geeky veiw point (well, via their converters and all that jiggerypokery with the Cedar audio extraction software lol, would love to get my hands on that piece of kit). Great stuff. Keep up the decomposing.

Thanks magoocus! I never thought Something could sound so good without that guitar solo. All this is hard to keep up with, but I enjoy it.

I love the bass isolations on Volume 3 too.

You almost "clean" voice on "Here Comes The Sun" or Stereo Strings on "Something", terrific, Stereo Guitars on "Come Together".

Thank you and congratulations, terrific work on all 3 sets of isolations.

Cor blimey that's the good stuff right there, it's brought me out in a rash move to set up my old 8trk quad amp n 4 RankWharf speakers to have the 3 LSD tracks swirling about the room - at 3am lol.

I find myself having a new found fondness for Macca's basslines aftering hearing them in this way, like close up.

Cheers Magoocus.

really great stuff, hats off to you. What is intriguing me is some of the odd isolations, like the moog and the organ, very very cool. :D
