Great site! I haven't listened to many of the BRG releases since the JNR Beatles site (or some other abbreviation that I can't recall) went down. Sadly, a lot of things are on Demonoid. Can any kind souls give me a pass to enter? If so, I'd appreciate it.

Smiles,
Shikoku

So, it was on Sept. 14th that I emailed TjT and said: "You know ? . . . it's rather corny & obvious . . but, 21 ? . . . how about 21 !, Blackjack !!
Twas the idea of puttin' `em on playing cards what sold me on it's must be-ness !

Having been here since only the end of August, I had no idea how quickly the next volume of YCMT may have been comin' around. So when I saw that I'd missed it by a couple weeks, I sent my sad sighs to Tj . . and he said "I still think it is ok if you go ahead and post it in the thread! people will still use it!"
So do what the boss sez folks . . c'mon now.

I sent MP3J a message just before, about an outstanding track on this that out-stood to me . . .
It includes a few sentiments I'd like to share :

"Let me get straight to it without a build-up :
"Just a Band On My Mind" is gorgeous, emotionally stirring and downright epic !!

I certainly relate to your "fed-up w/ bootlegs period", we all have other phases in life . . . but I myself am entering a raging Mashy fire-phase :
TjT's got me doing artwork for the next umpteen volumes \ I'm having clear & inspired ideas for all 12 or so mashes I have in various stages | and ( I bet you'll relate ) I've been playing my Mash-Ups playlist, which takes all those tracks for which one says "Ooh, I bet I'll like that one when I can give it another real listen" . . then you toss it into iTunes and finally get to it when the next Mashified phase hits.
This is what happened last night w/ "Just a Band On My Mind".
Stunning & stirring, and it belongs on any "Introduction to Mash-Ups For Dummies" compilation.
It could/should be a hit ( along with a couple hundred others ) and if I was back on radio, I'd sure be spinnin' it !"

Btw, he predicted his "tired of it" phase would pass soon, as it always does don't `cha know.
