I'm rather astoundified over here ! . . .
While workin' on a Mash you will soon know as "Get Up" - The Beatles vs Tom Waits", I wanted to try 5 or 6 seconds of The Fabs laughing to trail off from a certain moment.
"Hmm, I wonder what's out there that I might not be thinking of ?"
I soon found a 3-part series someone had called "A Laugh With The Beatles" and uploaded onto YouTube. Mostly bits from interviews, false-start takes, etc . . . most of which I knew, but so many I did not !!
They included a nearly full minute of John, George and Paul doing a bit on slicing up babies !?!
By Googling a full-phrase from an earlier line -- "that's the attitude of a defeatist like me !"
-- I discovered these were all from "1965 Christmas Message Out-takes ", of which I never knew not !!
And, granted . . I have yet to make it thru all the Mash-Volumes I've collected, but I've never heard none a' you'se guys use these bits either !!
Well, someone else had created a 3-part video for the "65 Christmas Out-takes" as well . . better quality too, and aside from creating 30 to 40 samples for future use ( I'm still in the middle of that ) I've restitched the 3 parts into one piece running 13:30.
Have at it !!
It's an mp3, so if an .aiff file is better for your editing purposes, I can always email a link to the fuller-quality version.

And yeah . . . the "Baby Slicing - with The Beatles" bit is already well on it's way to becoming an "Inner-Stitch-Ill" on the upcoming YCMT - Vol. 31 for Halloween.
According to the dates I've found, this would've been recorded in late `65 for that year's Christmas Flexi, right ? . . . . yet the Whitaker photo sessions that included the butcher shots was apparently early `66 !!
So . . hmm . . . where indeed did that idea first come from ?

Oh sure, I'd bet ( even without hearing it exactly ) that it was a vinyl artifact.
I'd assume these were acetates until recently, no ?
Even tape and/or clandestine copying could produce noises.

Or !, considering the informal nature of the session, John knocked a spoon to the floor !
