Though I have one more collection of odds and ends remixes and mashups to finish organizing and putting out, The Edge Of Helter Skelter will likely be my swan song of Beatles mashups. Over 3 years in the making now, this is my opus attempt at either remixing songs or mashing them with other songs. As always, there will be some examples of songs you really like and a couple you don't like (that seems to be typical), but yet I like them all. The highlight to me is the title song, which seems very fitting. The first track from this was started a few years ago now, the Nowhere To Go track that was on the last Tuned To A Natural E volume, and that is a really great track that seemed a fitting eulogy to this kind of compilation, as it is harder and harder to come of with new things, thus Nowhere To Go. But I did have some inspirations along the way. So, anyways, I hope you find some tracks that you like on this or enjoy the whole compilation!

Nowhere to Go is the cream of the crop here. Very nice.
Happy Birthday is very good.
I like the dueling voices in Oh Darling and love the bass intro.
The rework of Come Together with the strings is super smooth.

Some good stuff here!

Wait . . what ?!
and you wrote this post on Sun Jul 27, 2014 ?!?

Shows how -

1: this place has been so much quieter for the past few years.

and - 2- how time freakin' flies, man !

Would anyone believe I've actually finally been working on the next "YCMT" ?

I see a bump in TjT inclusions, for that volume and many to yet come !

(( seriously actually finally ))

I do have probably another disc worth of odds and ends releases at some point I will get to finishing up. I haven't done a mashup in some time now, except for the Summer Booty. Not sure I could top most of the Edge of Helter Skelter compilation anyways.

Thanks for the reply, which serves as proof of your continued existence . . and general checking-in-ness around here !

What I meant about TjT inclusions to last awhile wasn't about possibly more to come from you (`cause how would I have known that nice news ? ), but how there's already enough to sprinkle over upcoming releases !

Including your Macca / Devo item "Maybe I'm Whipped", which wasn't on the 2-disc volume even !

btw: did you catch and maybe enjoy this one ?
( I thought it had a Terminussy vibe )

I am chafing at the bit for more YCMT volumes. Why, there have been 500 new pokemon created since the last volume of YCMT.
Please proceed. :)
