does any one know what jai guru deva om mean???

if any one does then let me know please, i bin thinkin about it since i 1st heard the song nd its doin my head in!!

The mantra "Jai guru deva om" (Sanskrit: जय गुरुदेव ॐ) is a Sanskrit phrase fragment whose words could have many meanings, but roughly translate to "Victory to God divine", "Hail to the divine guru", or the phrase commonly invoked by the late Maharishi Mahesh Yogi "All Glory to Guru Deva" .
