This month...as a slight detour from the usual route, TJT suggested an Abbey Rd challenge.
So....pick any song from Abbey Rd, and have your way with it.
It'll be a bonus for Day Tripper Girl too, she'll be able to pick any of your submissions for her Abbey Road 40th celebration.

I'm not going to post my earlier efforts for the AR 40 project...you'll have to download the finished set for those!

It doesn't have to be a quiet month...it all depends on how many tracks you post!
I've just sent three to DTG....here's one of them

Beatles/Punkles - Come Together

OK, you got me confused now. So here's a warning: don't listen to this track if you want the DTG release to remain a complete surpirse !

Otherwise, feel free to give a listen to Mean Mr Mustard.

Now up on BDJ's Cellar, also in lossless format (a premiere!).

Maybe I'll remix Come Together, using the recently booted tracks.

Well, MP3J is right I think, but...
...many users from other forums and sites don't know about this project, so I doubt they download any track from here, even listen them.
I don't see any problem if all of us listen all tracks since we're da makers of this compilation. Indeed, a careful listen of each tracks may be could work to improve our efforts, I think. It's mean work like a team, from my point of view.

Perhaps, if we do that, is like open da presents before Xmas, but for others it will be a surprise, surely.

MP3J, I'm downloadin' your stuff, thanx a lot.

Finally, I want to thank your help... ya rock boys!!!

I have three Abbey Road tracks for this month's challenge being presented on the new PataMixical Science Volume 8 disc, though I doubt any of them are usable for your compilation.

I Wanna Be Mr. Man - [Mean Mr. Mustard vs. I Wanna Be Your Man]
This was already used on Tuned To A Natural E Vol. 6

and then there are
Revolution Is So Heavy
The End

but they are part of the Walrus Dream, and when you hear them, I think you would prefer to use other material for this type compilation.

But three Abbey Road song of the month contributions. Will put them up on podomatic too soon in lower bitrate version, so the torrent is preferred.

So i have to mash the whole album? In just a month? Ok,but I will have to give up sleeping,so that may affect the quality.lol
No,seriously,I have some just great for this post. Will finish them up soon.

DTG-I couldn't get your mix from that fileden link.Any chance of a re-up?

Paulo-I missed somehow that you had a podomatic site, but now I'm subscribed in itunes.

Reviews pending.

Here's my go at Come Together. This song is probably one of the most popular tracks to 'remix'; available in HQ stereo, simple rythm, just about 2 chords in all....

it still gave me quite a headache; with all the various bits and pieces looped etc., I ended up with 24 tracks to mix......

Enjoy, and/or include the (somewhat) lossless version on DTG album:

That's going to be interesting to hear. Suppose there are only so many things you can do with CT. Still, I introduced a second 'middle eight' and skipped 2 bars in the last verse..........

Here's a very simple fun little rework of Her Majesty.

http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?jg1zthe1iyd

And there's a great version of Sun King on it's way to DTG. ;)
