I like the idea of Ringo as the "single track host!"

Oh goodie, I'm happy you like that idea . . and always pleased that you're one a' the most likely to listen to the single-track.
Usey asked me to put that together for this volume afterall.
Twas an earlier BRG collection I was idly checking when I heard Ringo goin' on about "the ability of pop music to putrefy the minds of youth" and I had to figure out where that came from !
Well, once I had a big ol' bunch of samples from "200 Motels", I realized that serendipitous timing was gently pointing the way . . . a unified theme to link-bits" . . . one source even !
I'm thrilled how it worked out.

You say above that you hope Useo does more comps soon, but here's hoping that you also look forward to more from me . . . cuz that's what's comin' first.
The idea of alternating brings it back to me for Volume #30, but then it's into the 2 volumes that were the original impetus for you suggesting I do a couple.
The Ween-Themed, tied to 31, for October 31st.
Then a solo-mash set, tied to 32 so that the idea of "now I'm volume 32, and all I wanna' do . . is switcheroo !" works.

But don't worry -- (( who's worried ? )) . . . these have been pretty collaborative already . . in variable ways.
AtoZ & Useo together . . . hey gang !, it's AtoZeo !!

Yes, listening to the compilation today (sorry, I am woefully behind on listening, especially to the WTF's too), it does really add something to it.

Oh, you read too much into it. No, meant that it was nice he was doing them too. I guess I think since you have been part of the YCMT presentation package for some time now with your artwork since, was it Vol 15?, and your editorial contributions as well as musical contributions for many volumes now, that it gives another fresh approach to the series with Useo's compilation, he knows of lots of stuff I don't know anything about. And I hope he does more volumes as well, because you have several coming down the pike yourself!

And would like to have a BDJ made YCMT too!

As long as we aren't going the Benifer route!

Yup . . but #15 was more "going back to plug a gap.
I'd seen you say "Gee, guess this older one never did get artwork", so I threw together a semi-hasty one.
It was only for #21 ( Blackjack ! ) that I took an approach of real serious effort. That one was delivered just after another had been affixed, but you deemed mine the "keeper" and made it "official".
And since that point it's been relentless with the me over here.
Hell . . . I've got covers started that'll get us thru Volume 40 !
:o

Good idea too . . . I've gained more and more respect for his overview on things.
After really going thru his blogspot-place-thingy looking for future YCMT tracks ( and finding several that are already in the que for upcoming Volumes ) I can really see his presentation skill-set is a high as his many other talents.

Oh . . . so you won't be lining-up to see the surefire flop of a movie we've got coming out ?
We play an unlikely couple who "meet cute" on an obscure online photo-mashing site . . bond over our shared love of unreleased T.Rex tracks . . . and when we discover that one of us isn't a female-lady type person, the hijinks ensue !

It's sure to embarrass everyone involved !!
